Switchable Glass (Smart Glass) is a high-tech laminated glass product consisting of a Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal (PDLC) film sandwiched between layers of glass and conductive interlayers.
This innovative technology allows for the visual appearance of the glass to change from opaque (translucent) to clear (transparent) at the flick of a switch. It is clear when powered on and becomes opaque when the power is off.
